It seems I've forgotten to close the blinds again, because when I woke up I nearly died of fright. It seems my dreams have been walking towards the outside world. One without the need for me. And the sun shines through my window, it reminds me of what I'm meant to be. But I'll close my eyes in sorrow, because I think I'll wait until tomorrow. With this get well card, I'll put it under my pile of dirty laundry. Because purity comes without integrity. Regardless of this inspiration, I'll stay out of the way not to be mistaken for the runner up. I'll always feel this constant perspiration reminding me that I have forsaken myself.

My dreams get so cold in the winter. Your eyes are the snow painted sky. My heartbeat sounds soft of small whispers. Saying hold your hand in mine. Because every winter, I'll keep on dreaming of you. And with every snowfall, I'll pray that you'd know what I knew. As the winter fades, I've realized you're not here to stay. Now I feel like the dead grass that last winter left away. Now every winter, I can't stop dreaming of you. Now every snowfall I wish I could forget you.

So I've left myself a puzzled man to walk along these bridges that cannot stand. If I do make it through would that even be enough for you? When I feel I've walked enough I haven't even gone halfway. Now today I've realized this bridge is my life and it's rusting away. I don't want to build bridges. I've got better things to do. I don't want to keep walking. I don't want to be like you. I've still got tomorrow to jump off this bridge. I'll take what I can and I'll swim for the shore. One day I'll get there and I wont be trapped on this bridge anymore.

It all started in summer school. My friend ditched me right before class. So I sat down kinda next to you; We talked, I guess you seem kind of cool. A few weeks later you said you liked me. I don't know why but it was surprising. So we dated for about 2 weeks or so, but then one day you cheated on me. In that period of about 2 weeks I bought you some record by Brand New. I don't know why I always waste my time, but this time I got my feelings hurt too. If you ask me why I hate Brand New it is because I hate you, and if you ever hear this song give me my sunglasses back!
